I set a deadline of having my #fridayflash locked and loaded by Monday night so I have plenty of time to write & find photos for the next week and that's been working out well. My goal for finishing the rewrite on Watchers is October-ish. I'm not doing NaNo unless I finish it and it's creeping closer & closer every day. I have ideas for three novels after that - notes on two and a few chapters on the other. Not sure which I want to pursue next, but nothing is happening until I get the damn rewrite under my belt and submissions on their way. Very personal and it shows your drive and determination which is great! I have a cork board on the wall beside my desk with a list of dates for my targeted goals. But, I've always been a 'goal' oriented person. I'd struggle without my 'daily to do list', or my 'dated goal' list, and my 'things to buy' list, etc., etc. I would just flit around and never get anything important done. So I'm a firm believer in self-appointed goals. Good for you! It gives you something to strive for and achieve. :) Good blog Sel! I haven't read the books. My friend poo-poo'd them and once I started watching the show and they said it different than the books, I decided not to read the books. Of all the cast right now, Damon is my fav. Like Julie, it's the bad boy thing cause otherwise I don't see the attraction. I like that he toes the line of monster and protector. It's the same reason I'm so drawn to Eric on TB. I am also interested in seeing Catherine or the darkside of Elana as I call her. And I too eagarly await Bones to come back. I can’t wait for the show to come back either. I haven’t read the books.
